Council for All Round Development of Society (CARDS) was established in the year 1986 with the the initiative of a group of professionals from various disciplines committed to different fields of social welfare with the conviction.
- That no one should suffer from poverty, malnutrition, ill health, disease, hunger, atrocities and disaster etc. being deserted, illiterate, unskilled, unemployed, underprivileged, exploited or deprived of the high for of the right for self.
- That the fraternity, harmony and integrity of the nation should be ensured despite all sorts of diversity in the society.
- That there should be equal opportunity for all and the women, the children, the elderly, the disabled, the economically and socially backward people should deserve a special concerns for their self-determination, well-being, upliftment and the rehabilitation.
That the development of the society can be insured by promoting the values of self help, mutual help and through a planned utilization of human, natural and cultural resources.
